C-R-E-E-P-Y Cupcake Box

If you love making cupcakes - You will love this AccuCut Box Cupcake (3-D) Die. It is so versatile. Cupcake boxes can be made for every holiday or occasion. Today Angela Barkhouse is sharing her C-R-E-E-P-Y Cupcake Box.

For this box, Angela die cut the cupcake box using MM Spellbound Halloween paper. (If your designer paper is lightweight - die cut 2 boxes and adhere them to each other. ). This AccuCut :
Box Cupcake (3-D) one size Crease was die cut using the GrandeMARKE Roller Die Cutting System. The die has 4 components to it. (Cupcake box bottom, an insert that holds the cupcakes in place inside the box, an acetate window for the box lid and the lid). For the Cupcake box lid cut two, place the acetate window between the two layers and adhere. To create the C-R-E-E-P-Y sentiment for the box top, Angela used the Harmony Classic Circle II Ensemble (JB-08120) block and one of the designer borders from this set with 50 pt Brayton Font Ensemble (JB-08100) to spell C-R-E-E-P-Y. She stamped it on yellow cardstock then diecut it using Spellbinders Circle Nestabilities. The purple mat was die cut out of fun foam using Spellbinders Scalloped Circle Nestabilities. Fun foam adds extra dimension to the project.

To create the embellishment for the side of the cupcake box, Angela designed her sentiment using the 1 5/8” Harmony Classic Circle I wood block (JB-08115) and the small 6 pt letter set (JB-07275). She custom designed the outer ring of the block with the phrase “OH WHAT A TANGLED WEB WE WEAVE”. To design the center of the embellishment Angela used her leftover scraps of her cupcake box paper and die cut the center of a spider web. Then she placed the cute spider sticker on the web. The mat is diecut out of black fun foam using Spellbinders Scalloped Nestabilities.
For the back side of her cupcake box, Angela used the small harmony rectangular block (JB-08110) and spelled “EEEEEK” using the 50 pt & 25 pt Brayton Font Ensemble (JB-08100). This is diecut using the Spellbinders Long Scalloped Rectangles Nestabilities and once again used purple fun foam to mat. Of course, this saying needed to have a cute little spider sitting next to it. Last step, she added some Happy Halloween ribbon around the top of the box and then it is complete. Just add a YUMMY CUPCAKE!!!!!!
