JustRite Punch & Die Compatibility Chart Now on JustRite Website

You may have noticed the JustRite Blog has been a little quiet over that last two weeks. Don't worry, it just means we have been very busy behind the scenes working on the 2010 Catalog for our January & February Releases. We will be releasing 2 groups of stamps in January and another group of stamps on Feb 7th. The sneak peeks for the 2 new stamps sets being release on January 1st will begin this Friday evening ( Dec 18th). We can't wait to show you the new sets!!

One of the things we have been working on for our catalog is a Punch & Die Compatibility Chart .

It's the #1 question we get at JustRite- "What dies or punches do I need to die cut my JustRite stamped images." Finally we have a more comprehensive answer. We are so excited about the chart that we have already uploaded it to the tip section of the JustRite Website. Sorry that the chart is so small here on the blog, don't fret you can find a printable version on the tip section of our website. We are sure that you will love the information contained in this chart.

When referring to Spellbinders Dies on the chart- we began counting the dies from the center, giving each die a number to use in our reference guide.

The second most frequently asked question is which size Nestabilitie set do I need to purchase the large or small set of Nestabilities? When you review the chart you will see that our design team actually uses both sets depending on which stamper they are using and how much of a border they want around the stamped image. When you combine the the Spellbinders Large Nestabilitie set with the Spellbinders Large Nestabilities sets you can create mat layers with 1/8” increments.

We loved to hear what you think of our new chart. Next on the to do list is a chart for all the scalloped shapes.

I don't know about you, but I have a draw full of school pictures from my kids and all my nieces and nephews. So this Christmas I was determined to find a great way to use these pictures in a project that would allow me to show off these pictures on our Christmas Tree. as well as make great Christmas Gifts for the other members of our family. I know my kids will get a kick out of these photo ornaments for years to come and they will look so cute hanging from our tree. These are super fast and fun to make.
I purchased the flat glitter snowflake at Walmart for $1.00. They are available in a variety of colors. Next I found pictures that would give me the right size headshot to frame with the 2" decorative borders. I used one of the new 2" Rd Decorative Borders to create a frame for my photo. Then I used lots of rhinestones to the jazz up the glittered snowflake as well as my JustRite Frame.
For the back side of my snowflake I decided to write the boy's names and the grade they were in when the photo was taken. I used 25 & 15 Point Times Roman Font to create my center image. To glitter my center stamped image, I sprayed the stamped image with V2 vellum adhesive and applied crystal translucent glitter from the Art Institute. These will be a priceless family heirloom for many years to come.

Day 5 with Sankari Wegman

A Huge Thanks to Sankari for inspiring us this week!! I know you have enjoyed all of her amazing projects as much as I have. You can find Sankari most days blogging at Sankari's Sunshine Corner. Enjoy your Christmas Shopping and remember to tell Santa that JustRite is having a sale!

Happy Friday Everyone!!

I have been so happy to be the Guest Designer for Just Rite this week - its been a blast and so much fun to create all of these fun projects! I am sad that this is my last day as a guest designer but am excited to show you a project that I made using the beautiful oval baby stamps from Just Rite . My cousin and his wife just found out that they are having a baby girl and we are all over the moon by this news! I wanted to send them something cute and congratulatory and loved the fact that I could personalize their names with my Just Rite Baby Stamp Ensemble stamp set(which comes with 6 borders and 6 centers and which is on SALE right now for the amazing price of $4.00!!! )
The little metal container has some pink and white socks for the little wee baby and a 12x12 strip of Basic Grey Sultry is wrapped around it. I thought the bootie image was perfect for this cute little container of socks (and yes - I LOVE socks as you probably noticed from day 3's project :)
Here is a close up of the card: I cut out my oval (without a border) and paired it with my spellbinders. I love bright colors and am not really sure how to "do" pastels - and while I was making this, I had to laugh a little, because it is so not a light pink kind of card :) But I had fun making it and I hope my cousin and his wife will like it :)
I stamped the sentiment in Memento Rose Red and the pacifier image is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and then colored in with my copics. I sponged the edge of the oval (cut out the Creative Memories Oval cutter) and then adhered onto spellbinders with dimensionals - here is a closer peek at the sentiment on the card: I LOVE that I could personalize this gift with my cousin's name and his wife's name - it says: Congratulations: with the names of my cousins' written with Just Rite fonts (Times Roman 15pc). The fun thing is that even thought this bootie stamp is an oval one, after stamping it, I cut it out with some circle spellbinders and then created some layers :) Its always so nice to get a card/present in the mail and even nicer I think when it is personalized with your name on it :) Today Just Rite is having an amazing Sale and I can't wait to shop (in my PJ's sipping on some hot cocoa :) A huge thank you to Kellie for everything that she does and for all of you for visiting! I hope you enjoyed the projects this week as much as I enjoyed making them!!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
Big hugs to all!!
Sankari :)

Good Morning Everyone!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!! Hope that you are all doing great and enjoying some time off to be with family and friends (and enjoy some yummy food!). Today, I am such a Just Rite project that I have been wanting to do for such a long time - to make handmade place settings for our Christmas dinner - but usually this is forgotten in the rush to buy gifts, attend the holiday parties at the kids schools etc. But this project is super easy to mass produce - here is a view of the 12 place cards that I made:

Each place card is 3"x 3 1/2" - scored at 1 1/2". I stamped three separate images and borders from the: Merry Little Christmas Borders and Centers Round 1 5/8" onto a piece of snow white cardstock from Taylored Expressions and then punched each one out with a 1 3/4" punch. I then cut out red, blue and green scallops with spellbinders and started the assembly line to put it together. Each place card has faux stitching and has everyone's names using the JustRite Wood Stamper 2" with Bonus 15pt Font & Center set. I stamped the names of the people that I know are definitely coming and made more placecards that do not yet have the names stamped because we are not yet sure who all is coming for dinner :) - but as soon as we do - then its a cinch to stamp their name to the place card.

Here is a view of the place cards with the circular stamp: Holiday Hugs and Kisses: Each of the hats were colored with copics and then white parts of the hat were sprinkled with some chunky glitter: Here is view of the place cards with the stamped sentiment: Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas: I colored in the cute gingerbread men with copics and then went over it with some glaze pens:Here is a view of the place card with the stamped sentiment:Wishing you a Merry Christmas: The images are colored with copics and then covered with a glaze pen.
I loved making these Christmas dinner place cards and using these cute little Christmas stamps with the different bordered sentiments was such a nice way to create individual place settings that weren't all the same :) It was a cinch to make these place settings and I am excited to see everyone's face when they see their names in ink :) it's always a special time to sit down and have dinner with family - especially when everyone is scattered near and far! - so I wish for you a wonderful day today as we celebrate and give thanks!

Tomorrow, I have a wee little gift idea for special little bundles of joy!
So stop on buy for Day 5 project ideas tomorrow!!!
Big hugs!
Sankari :)

Day 3 with Sankari Wegman- Snowflakes & Socks

You will just love Sankari 's project today. What a perfect gift for your child's favorite teacher or a special friend!! We will have a 2nd post tonight at 5PM announcing our Black Friday/Cyber Monday promotion.

Good Morning Everyone!!

Are you all getting ready for some Thanksgiving yumminess?! Well, today - is a busy day over here with cleaning, cooking and eating :) lol! Today, I am excited to show you a project using one of my fave Just Rite stamps with the sentiment: "Snowflakes are Winter's Butterflies". This sentiment is one one of the borders that comes with the: Merry Little Christmas Borders & Centers Round 1-5/8" set. There are so many beautiful sentiments in this set that its hard to choose one - but I loved this sentiment because of the image of a winter butterfly.

All the Just Rite circle stamps are so fun to use them with all the different circle punches, nestibiliites or circle cutting systems and there are so many fun possibilities on how to layer them on your card or project. The project that I made today is a fun (and inexpensive (under $5)) gift for my children's preschool teacher. I created a little winter pail filled with socks and a matching card. I got this pail at Target for $1 and some socks to fill in the pail.

I love how this turned out and can't wait to make a few more! Here is a picture of the gift set:
I used the My Mind's Eye designer papers series and cut out little christmas trees for the bottom of the pail and then colored in the snowlfakes on the metal pail with blue copics and some added to the centers some bling (I used some Zip Dry to adhere the ribbon). I layered the sentiment and snowflake with my punches and then my nesties for the bigger sizes.
For the card, I cut out a cared stock and then punched with the lattice edge punch the inside of the card and then cut it a little shorter in the front of the card. So when the card is lying down it looks like this:
But when you stand it up - the lattice edge goes to the back and the circle window becomes more apparent and since the stamped image is on dimensionals - it doesn't hide in the background :
I arranged all the elements on the card and then punched out a circle with my nesties and then on the inside of the card I added the snowflakes are winter's butterflies sentiment which is covered with chunky glitter and then I layered with nesties and decorated with liquid pearls and sponging :) It's so nice to have such variety of choices of borders and images to mix and match and there is something about circle stamps where the sentiment is also circular that is just so fun to stamp with! I hope you enjoyed this project and gift idea :) and I hope you come back tomorrow for a little project to make your holiday dinner very special!!!

Thank you so much for stopping in today and can't wait to see you tomorrow!!
And wising al of you who are traveling to be with your loved ones - a very safe journey!!!
Big hugs!
Sankari :)
