250,000 Hits -Blog Candy Celebration- plus JustRite Stationery Set

Thank you to everyone who visits our blog!! We are very excited to announce that our blog counter has exceeded 250,000 hits and of course we are celebrating with Blog Candy!! First we have a great project to share with you designed by Angela Barkhouse and then we are giving away all the items that Angela used to make her project as blog candy. Note that we will be giving away multiply sets of prizes - at key levels we will add additional gift packages. For all the details on what you can win and how you can win it ..read the entire post!!

This is a great easy project to personalize. First we bought the box with the plain notecards from TJ Max. For under $5.00 and then Angela personalized the entire project by adding designer paper, ribboon and JustRite stamped embellishments. Most of the project could have been made from scraps. And what better way to show someone you care than a personalized gift. Or even better - how about creating personalized stationery for yourself. The box top and the Stationery Top looked like this before we started our JustRite makeover:

Angela adorned the box top with a strip of green floral paper from MOD as well as altering the sides of the box with the same paper. This pulled her design elements together. Next she added Sparkle and Shine ribbon from Michaels to the top and bottom of this strip as well as the front and sides. For a little bling she add blue Kaiser rhinestones. For her JustRite design element she used the Harmony Classic Oval Stamper II kit (JB-08180) and chose the “Imagine” designer center and star designer border. To create her embellishment for the top of the box she stamped the image using Spellbinders Oval Nestabilities & Scalloped Oval Nestabilities (JustRite Stamps stampes are designed to match perfectly with Spellbinders Nestabilities). The only shape in our collection that is not a perfect match currently is our small oval. In May we will be introducing a new small oval that matches the exact Nestabilities oval shape. To create the "Notes from ME" embellishment Angela used the small rectangular stamper (JB-08110) and the Curlz Font Ensemble 25 pt (JB-08070) and stamped my sentiment “Notes from Me” onto white cardstock using Versamagic Aegean Blue. Then she cut out the verbiage using the Spellbinders Double Ended Tags.

Here are samples of three cards that Angela designed for her Stationery Set using the Oval Stamper I Ensemble with her Curlz Font:

She had a ton of fun playing with all her JustRite Toys.

It so hard to only pick one.... oval. But Iwant them all!!!

Oh! I have to have the recipe set. My Mother decided last year to start writing down all the family recipes that me and my sisters are always calling her and asking her to "email me that recipe." Problem is there really are no recipes since we "just throw these great meals together". As these family classics are officially written down I can do them justice with this great "classic" looking stamp set...not too cutsey/cartoony and not too serious/bland....."Just Rite".

I love the lower case fonts!

I really do like all the new products, but if I were pressed I'd say the Demi Phrases. Thanks for the outstanding blog candy opportunity and for the fantastic project.

This is a very tough choice - but I have to agree that I like the lowercase sets to mix it up a bit!
Great samples and new stuff!!

I really like the 2" stamper with the 15 pt font set. These would be great used with the scalloped and plain circle Nestabilities for use on cards. If I didn't use the cute vase of flowers included with this set, I could stamp the outer ring with whatever wording I wanted, then use one of my own stamps that would fit in the center. I also like the lower case Times Roman font set. That would add extra versatility to the upper case set I already own.

My favorite product is Recipe Borders & Centers. I've been wanting to personalize my recipe box for a long time, and nothing else I've seen (or purchased) has been right. This set definitely is!

I had the same problem choosing as many of the other stampers did! I'd have to give the edge to the VERTICAL stamper since I am always looking for vertical sentiments for cards. Spelling out someone's name or just a HELLO! are just two ways I can imagine using these.

Sharlene said...

I just love the circle coffee stamps and would like to make a insert for my travel mug with the stamps!!!!

I really want to get my hands on the new Wood Stamper 2" with Bonus 15pt Font & Center. I think it would be so neat to personalize a card front with a stamp that includes the person's name on it. How special is that person going to feel?
