250,000 Hits -Blog Candy Celebration- plus JustRite Stationery Set

Thank you to everyone who visits our blog!! We are very excited to announce that our blog counter has exceeded 250,000 hits and of course we are celebrating with Blog Candy!! First we have a great project to share with you designed by Angela Barkhouse and then we are giving away all the items that Angela used to make her project as blog candy. Note that we will be giving away multiply sets of prizes - at key levels we will add additional gift packages. For all the details on what you can win and how you can win it ..read the entire post!!

This is a great easy project to personalize. First we bought the box with the plain notecards from TJ Max. For under $5.00 and then Angela personalized the entire project by adding designer paper, ribboon and JustRite stamped embellishments. Most of the project could have been made from scraps. And what better way to show someone you care than a personalized gift. Or even better - how about creating personalized stationery for yourself. The box top and the Stationery Top looked like this before we started our JustRite makeover:

Angela adorned the box top with a strip of green floral paper from MOD as well as altering the sides of the box with the same paper. This pulled her design elements together. Next she added Sparkle and Shine ribbon from Michaels to the top and bottom of this strip as well as the front and sides. For a little bling she add blue Kaiser rhinestones. For her JustRite design element she used the Harmony Classic Oval Stamper II kit (JB-08180) and chose the “Imagine” designer center and star designer border. To create her embellishment for the top of the box she stamped the image using Spellbinders Oval Nestabilities & Scalloped Oval Nestabilities (JustRite Stamps stampes are designed to match perfectly with Spellbinders Nestabilities). The only shape in our collection that is not a perfect match currently is our small oval. In May we will be introducing a new small oval that matches the exact Nestabilities oval shape. To create the "Notes from ME" embellishment Angela used the small rectangular stamper (JB-08110) and the Curlz Font Ensemble 25 pt (JB-08070) and stamped my sentiment “Notes from Me” onto white cardstock using Versamagic Aegean Blue. Then she cut out the verbiage using the Spellbinders Double Ended Tags.

Here are samples of three cards that Angela designed for her Stationery Set using the Oval Stamper I Ensemble with her Curlz Font:

She had a ton of fun playing with all her JustRite Toys.

NEW! Celebrations Demi Phrases Set 2" I really liked this but since I first seen your site months ago and am unfamiliar with your stamps sets and how they work and I have emailed at least 20 times trying to figure out what and how they work together for sure I am sure that this is something I will just have to drool over. I live almost 80 miles from KC and 150 miles from Des Moines and there is nothing close here that carries your stuff. I am hoping that at least by posting here someone can help me. When I really like something I don't mind spending DH's money but want to know what I am getting.

It would be hard to decide.
I love the sets that I can use during the Christmas Hioliday.
I just want them all.

My favorite is the Vertical Stamper Set. It will add a new dimension for cardmaking and mixed media. I like to do vertical stamping but the cost of pre-made stamps for each word is just too much. This is the answer. I already have several fonts for my other sets.

Anonymous said...

I love the Trompe Script Lowercase letters.

Congrats on the 250K mark.

Anonymous said...

Hi, the best sets are the ovals and the verticals! They are so cute. I want them all! Oh and lower case fonts also.

Anonymous said...

OMG, definitely the vertical stamper. So many times I have wanted a word down the side & just can't manage it! No, there is no excuse! Thanks, Just Rite!

I think my favorite is the lowercase Trompe script font. It just opens up a world of possiblities as far as personalizing cards and gifts. i love the recipe set!! i think this would make great gifts for so many occasions! thanks for the chance to win.

Anonymous said...

My decision would be the wood stamper 2-3/8" with bonus font and center because if I opted for the beautiful Trompe Script lowercase font set I'd have to order too many basics to use it with! I'm a cardmaker with 9 siblings, all married, all with large families so I make a lot of cards for every occasion. I know it would get a lot of use, including stamping a 'preliminary' message on the envelope.

definitely the Recipe and What's cooking Borders and centers. I can just see it as a set of cooking/baking notebook, and magnets for the fridge (to hold the shopping list for the chosen courses for the week).
Maybe some nifty coasters and place-mats to match...
It really got my mind rolling :D
