Welcome to day 3 with Lisa Somerville. Today Lisa share's with us a great economical notecard set that you can make using the Luxe (c30 stamper) in a matter of minutes.

Dollar finds make great gift sets!

While searching through the dollar section at Michaels, I stumbled across some great 3" x 3" cards that also had matching A2 sized cards. For my project today I incorporated both of these items into a great Monogram Gift Set, using my C30 Stamper. (Luxe Stamper)

Because my cards were already made, the only thing I had to do was stamp my monogram, punch them out and adhere to my cards. I inked one side of my Stamp Pad with Chocolate Chip ink, inserted my letter of choice and Damask border and stamped my letters on Baja Breeze card stock, punched them out with the 1-1/4" circle punch, and layered them on a 1-3/8" Chocolate Chip punched circle, then onto my 3" x 3" cards. The C30 Monogram Stamper works perfectly with these circle punches, and makes personalizing gift sets a breeze!

The card you see on the front of my box was cut from the A2 card, and layered onto my box, before I assembled it. I also punched the holes for my Shaker Book Knob before assembling (trust me, it's easier to do that before you sticky strip your box).

Here is a view to show you visually the difference in size between the c30- Luxe Stamper and the c-45 Monogram Stamper. The C30 is perfect for small notecards, table place cards for special events and smaller projects.

Day One with Lisa Somerville -Mongrammed Bracelet and Jewelry Box

Welcome to Day One with Lisa Somerville. Today Lisa has designed a monogrammed bracelet and matching jewelry box. This would be a perfect Chiristmas Gift.

While I was at CHA this summer, I stopped by the Amate Studios Booth to do a Make and Take, they have great jewelry pieces you can alter with stamped images or your Melting Pot. I was also lucky enough to receive a blank piece for altering at home, and the JustRite Monograms are perfect for these pieces. I stamped my Flourish image in pink on vanilla card stock, then used my Luxe Stamper to stamp my "K" monogram in brown ink. I placed a dot of Ranger Glossy accents in the bottom of the jewelry piece to hold my card stock in place, then poured in some UTEE that I melted in my Melting Pot. Then left it to dry.

If you're looking for these jewelry pieces to alter - Kitchen Sink Stamps is carrying them - Amate only sells wholesale. Now I just needed to create a matching box to complete my gift set.

I found my wooden box at my local Michael's store - it's neat - as the lid is a shadow box. To alter my box, I first painted it with Gesso, then let dry. Then I used my Radiant Rain Dauber in Pink Azalea to add color to my box. Once dry I stamped my Flourish images in brown, and edged my box with a sponge dauber and brown ink.

To create my monogram, I stamped my Flourish in pink on vanilla card stock, then used my Deluxe Inking Stamper to stamp my "K" in brown ink. I cut my piece to size, edged my card stock with a sponge dauber and brown ink, and placed it inside the shadow box lid. Now I've got a great gift - perfect for one of my nieces for Christmas!

Supplies:
Ink
- Stampin' Up! Chocolate Chip, Pixie Pink
Card Stock - Vanilla
JustRite Stamps -Luxe Stamper
Stamps: Artsy Swirls , Deluxe Inking Stamper
Accessories: Gesso, UTEE, Ranger Melting Pot, Amate Jewelry - Bracelet, Wooden Shadow Box - Michaels, Radiant Rain Dauber, Ranger Glossy Accents, Sponge Dauber

Christening Card for Henry

Welcome to day two with Joan Bardee from Paperlicious. Apparently, JustRite has revealed a big secret about Joan...her identity! Yes, that is her picture in the right side bar and now you know what she looks like! We know you will enjoy her second day of creativity.

My friend Jack asked me to make a Christening card for his grandson, Henry Fonder-Kristy. I was stunned as Jack, like most of my friends, is a lawyer and mocks my hobby! Eventually, they all come crawling to us for help, don’t they???
Jack didn't like any of the cards he saw in the stores. So, thinking I would wow him, I asked him if he'd like a card with his GRANDSON'S NAME and Christening date on it. No! "Anyone can type his name, I want a hand stamped card." Poor Jack, that Harvard Law Degree is useless sometimes! He had no idea that he could have both a hand stamped one of kind card and a personalized card. JustRite to the rescue! I'm happy to say that the card was a big hit with Henry’s parents — a keepsake for the scrapbook.

Now the JustRite Letter set (letters that you use to spell out the name or whatever you want to put in the border) has very small letters, so I wondered if: 1. I could actually get it to work and 2. If I'd get a clear image. As you can see, yes on both counts.
Here are a few tips to make using these letters easy:
  1. Use the tweezers that come with the letters. They make the whole project go much faster.
  2. Use the letters over a table -- you don't want to lose any of the letters, numbers or other images that come with the set.
  3. Once in place, ink and stamp on a piece of scrap paper to ensure that all the letters are going in the right direction.
  4. It is easy to move the letters once they are on the border — just gently slide them around to get perfect placement.
  5. Don't worry about cleaning these tiny letters. It's a breeze. Just keep stamping off the inked up image on a piece of scrap paper until no ink remains on the letters. If you are a fussy stamper and insist on traditional cleaning, stamp on a damp piece of paper towel until clean. Do not rub on a stamp and scrub or the small letters will come off and possibly get lost.
  6. Then put away the letters in the nifty storage case.

I keep all my JustRite products in a plastic case on my stamping table. After I made one personalized card I was hooked!

Designed by Joan Bardee

**Today is the last day to vote for this week's Stampin Champion. Take a look at the entries here and vote!**

It's day one with the talented and funny Joan Bardee! Although Joan is nervous about her Guest Blogging debut I know that you will be very impressed with her creativity this week. Make sure you leave her some comments and let her know what a great job she is doing.

I took one look at the JustRite Monogram Stamper and figured that I would not be able to use it. Anything that comes with directions scares me. But, there is hope for the average stamper! If I can use these products and make great stuff, you can too! In fact, the whole line of JustRite products is one big "why didn't I think of that and make a fortune?" Easy, intuitive and fun.

To be honest, I'm not your usual guest blogger/design team member/wonderful designer. Denise asked me to be a guest blogger for JustRite after she read my whining that I was running out of $$$ to buy stamping stuff! Isn't she sweet? So she sends me a few JustRite Stamper products and of course I fall in love with them and immediately buy a ton of the stuff that goes with it. I HAD to! (I'm soo glad my husband doesn't read this blog!!!)

For my first project I made a letter "D" initial charm to attach to a bracelet for my mother in law, Dorann, and a coordinating gift package. It took me 10 minutes to make this charm, but she'll think it took me days 'cause she's not a stamper. I love things that are easy but look hard!

I bought the lady bug bracelet for $11 at the local hospital gift shop. Personalizing the bracelet with my MIL's initial really sets it apart from the original bracelet and just adds that something special.

Frankly, this was my first successful foray with shrink plastic. My original plan was to ink up the shrink plastic, cut it with a die cut machine and heat. Then it occurred to me that sending a pigment inked image through a die cut machine would smear the ink, so I used Stampin Up!'s scalloped circle punch to cut out the design after I stamped it. Perfect fit! Hint: be sure to punch a hole to thread wire before heating.

After I punched out the circle and a smaller one for threading wire, I zapped it with my heat gun and the charm flew all over the place! I held it down with the handle of a wooden spoon and zapped it again. The charm curled up, but eventually flattened. As soon as it stopped moving around I put a plate on top and pressed down to make sure it was smooth.

A beautiful bracelet needs a pretty box, so I wrapped the box and then made a personalized sticker for the top of the box. I love how it turned out.

Whew! I’m not used to making things for companies, so be kind!

Bag Tag

What would the week be without a Jen del Muro Bag Tag? I remember the first time I saw a Bag Tag on Jen's blog. I think she used it as a diaper bag tag but I made my girls tags for their school backpacks. Enjoy this quick, fun and personalized gift.

Again, I will reiterate that I wanted to create a variety of projects to show you this week. So far I have shown you a personal stationary set, and a wedding ensemble. Today my focus is on kids and travel and I am showing you a bag tag. This is a project that I first created over a year ago. Since then, I have used them as baby shower gifts, as well as attaching them to my own luggage and pool/beach bag.

This is a really easy project that you can make really fancy, yet it is easy enough to get the kids involved. They can make their own bag tags for their backpacks. The idea or theme that I had in mind for this particular tag was little princess. To create the monogram, I used two color ink pad in my Large Monogram Stamper. I chose Stampin’ Up’s Rose Red and Old Olive ink colors to coordinate with the Treehouse Memories paper. I mixed up the fonts in the monogram to give a little character and dress it up a little. To “kick it up a notch” you can add more ribbon. The reverse side is blank, so you can add your address or business card. To complete the project, simply add a binder clip and attach to your bag.

Thanks for visiting and come back tomorrow for some family fun!

Shop Til Ya Drop

Day four with Dawn and today we get to go on a shopping spree. Ok....not really but wouldn't you love to pull something like this out of your purse while shopping? Once again, click on any of the pics for a closer look. Enjoy!I love this checkbook cover and matching credit card holder from Oriental Trading Company. A gal can never have enough stampin money...right? These were personalized just for me with the JustRite Monogram Stamper. So many things come to mind when using these fabulous stamps and this checkbook will no doubt be mine because it has my name all over it.

I used the fun and sassy border from the Curlz Accessory Kit with my monogram stamper and Small Letter set. Once I stamped it on whisper white I then took my 1/8 hole punch and punched out every other circle on the border. Then added the black scallop punch behind the monogram so the black would show through the punched out holes.
For my faux eyelets on the covers I used the 1 1/4 circle punch and the 1/8 circle punch and outlined the circles with my white gel pen. Love that look! I then layered black and purple cardstock behind to show through the holes.

I Love this monogram stamper and how easy it is to use PLUS with the Small Letter Kit you get Tons of letters, numbers and symbols. You can say alot with your sentiments without running out of letters.

Thanks for stopping by and happy monograming

Father's Day Photo Cube

Here is an easy and inexpensive gift idea for Father's Day. The photo cube was purchased for $5.00 at Archivers. The coordinating SU pattern papers were used to cover each side of the cardboard cube insert. This is a great way to use up those scraps too.

The pictures were printed in wallet size using the Sepia tone so they didn't clash with the pattern papers. Each photo was monogrammed with the family member's first name initial. The Small Monogram Stamper was used for each initial and punched using SU circle punches.

We look forward to building a stamping relationship with you!

A Whole Lot of JustRite

This pink and green ensemble was created using each of the JustRite products in our current line.
The border for this tag was created using the Small Letter Set and the center BFF monogram was made using the Medium Times New Roman font from the Small Monogram Stamper. Note* The Small Letters can be used around the edge as a border or in the center as a sentiment.

The card on the left used the Large and Small Times New Roman Letters from the JustRite Large Monogram Kit. This particular card does not use a border but there are four borders included with the kit. The box on the bottom uses the Small Monogram Stamper Kit and the Medium Times New Roman letter "D" with the Damask Border that also comes with the kit. Note* Both the Large and Small Monogram kits can also be used with the Small Letter Set to allow you the capability of creating your own personalized borders and sentiments.
There is no need to use tweezers and the Small Letter Set to spell out this border because we have done it for you! This border sentiment is in the set called From the Desk/Kitchen/Library. Very quick and handy for making personalized gifts. The personalized name "Kim" was made using the large and small Times New Roman letters from both the Large and Small Monogram Kits.

Feel free to leave a comment if you have any questions regarding these projects or any of the JustRite products used here. Any of the items used can be purchased at http://www.justritestampers.com/
