Day 4 with Julie Buhler- Christmas Gifts

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!! I am sure many of you will be busy today in your kitchens, making yummy things for your families. So when you get the chance to sit and relax later this evening here is a great Christmas Project Idea just in time for the Holidays. from Julie Buhler.
The perfect Christmas gift does not always come in Christmas colors. When you know someone's favorite color, why not create a little something special with that in mind?

I love JustRite Products for the sheer amount of versatility - you can create anything and personalize it every step of the way!! For this gift, I personalized the box, and then made the card to match. I didn't put much on the card, but here is why.

The flowers on the cards are covered in glitter, and it was so shimmery, that I could not cover it up. The box, as pictured, is also full of glitter. This is so easy to do! I just took some Berry Bliss paper, and used stickles on each of the flowers - my own designer glitz paper! Then, I made my name panel, and the girlfriends sentiment with my JRS. I used the Brayton font with the smaller Harmony Retangular block, and the new Chique Oval Stamper for the card. After I stamped them, they too got the glitter treatment. And don't you like the flourishes beside the name - they come with the fonts, and there are a lot to choose from!! Since we are talking about matching here, let me show you what is inside.
OH MY GOSH - how perfect is that ?!? I bought these M&M's speciafically with this project in mind, and so I had to buy them in October. They only come out for Breast Cancer Awareness, and I made my box big enough to fit their whole bag inside. Perfectly coordinated Christmas gift, right down to the chocolate inside!

Supplies :

Justrite Stamps : JB 08100 Brayton Font, Small Rectangular Harmony Block, JB 08190 Chique Oval Stamper, girlfriends center, 2 line border (justrite stampers)
Ink : regal rose, pretty in pink, chocolate chip (Stampin' Up!)
Paper : close to cocoa, white, rose red, berry bliss DP
Accessories : satin ribbon, corner rounder and wide oval punches, coluzzle, dimensionals (Stampin' Up!), nestibilities, crystal stickles, scor-pal (All That Scraps)

Day Two with Julie Buhler

It's day two with Julie Buhler and today's project comes with a little inspiration from Julie's kitchen. Julie used an image from our Baking Stamp Ensemble.

Which is one of 6 items that you can buy from the JustRite Website in our Buy One Get One Free Sale. Sale ends November 30th. So tell Santa, tell your friends about our terrific sale.

At this time of year, a lot baking is being done, and whatever comes out of the oven often ends up as a gift. I like to give my baking away in something that will be enjoyed, as much as the food. Last year, I etched glass plates for them to use after. This year, I was inspired by Lauren, and created a box to give away my goodies.

Everyone buys two bite brownies, but did you know it is so easy to make your own? Just by a brownine mix, and instead of putting it in a pan. use a mini muffin tin!! Then, bag them up and put them in a box as delectable as the treats inside. This box holds 10 or so of this sized treat - it is pretty big.

Since I needed a box, I designed my own template. On the top, I used the 2 5/16 circle Harmony block and the baking stamp ensemble. I made a scallop circle and then stamped the border on the vanilla. I stamped the Fudge center with chocolate ink, and added stickles to the chocolate chips (or hearts ?), and paper pierced between each one. I used my cutter kit on the vanilla and put it all together on my lid.

This is a front view, but you have so many options with this set!! Fill it with a hot chocolate mix, christmas cookies, chocolates, etc. and then pick the stamp to match. I covered the box with some baking patterned paper I found. My lid is held on by some Basic Grey magnets again, since I didn't want a ribbon over the top to hide my lid topper. The packaging turn the gift into a gourmet treat!

Supplies :

JustRite Stamps : JB 08116 Harmony Classic Circle 2 5/16 stamper, JB 08130 Baking Stamp Ensemble
Ink : chocolate chip, creamy caramel (Stampin' Up!)
Paper : Chocolate chip. Creamy Caramel, Very Vanilla (Stampin' Up!), Bake-Off Paper (Flair - All That Scraps)
Accessories : Stardust Stickles, Basic Grey Magnets (All That Scraps), vanilla tafetta, cutter kit, dimesionals Coluzzle, scallop punch, corner rounder punch (Stampin' Up!)

Decorative packaging for more sweet treats

Part of this week's project challenge was to find inexpensive items in packaging that would be easy to alter. For today's project we found this great clear acetate box of Non-Pareil’s. Although these are now readily available everywhere I remember that you could only find these at Christmas or as Snow Caps at the movie theater when I was growing up. So this gift idea had some instant sentimental value.

Cut a strip of paper approximately 1” wide and adhere to the side of the container. Cut a 5 ¾” circle and adhere to the top of the container. Using the Cricut Expression and the Accent Essentials cartridge, die cut 4 flowers (Accent26s) from red cardstock and 2 from green cardstock. Use red and black chalk to draw “veins” on the poinsettia. Use pop dots to stack the red die cuts into the shape of a poinsettia. Place green die cut “leaves” randomly around the poinsettia.
Using the Christmas Stamp Ensemble (JB-08150) and the Harmony Classic Circle III (JB-08117) stamp “Seasons Greetings” designer center onto cream cardstock using Versamagic Red Magic. Die cut using Spellbinders scallop circle Nestabilities. Chalk the edges with red chalk. Adhere with pop dots to the center of the Poinsettia and adhere to the top of the container cover.
Supplies:
JustRite Stampers: JB-08150 Christmas Stamp Ensemble, JB-08117 Harmony Classic Circle III
Paper: DCWV Christmas Stack, DCWV Cardstock Stack
Dies: Cricut Expression -Accent Essentials Cartridge, Spellbinders Scallop Circle Nestabilities

Celebrate the Holidays with Chocolate Treats

This weeks inspiration is Chocolate. As the Holidays are fast approaching we are all looking for fun, fast and inexpensive gifts. What better way to use your JustRite Stamping product than to alter a Chocolate Treat and turn it into a smashing Christmas Gift. The gift ideas this week are perfect for Secret Santa Gifts, Teachers Gifts and all the special people on your list that you would like to give a little something this Holiday Season. Today's projects feature Holiday Chocolates that already come in fun Christmas packaging. Angela has simply given them a JustRite Christmas Flair.

For the first project we took the sentiment of the season “Believe” and transformed a bag of Lindt Lindor Milk Chocolate Truffles. The bags are available in a number of sizes depending upon the retailer you purchase them from. Our bags today are 8.5 Fl Oz.
To design your bag cut a strip of DCWV Diamond paper approximately 1 ½” x 12” and wrap around the bottom of the bag. Apply Kaiser rhinestones to the diamond centers. Next we added a 3 -D Santa sticker we found at Office Max

Next, using JB-08180 Harmony Classic Oval Stamper II Stamp Ensemble, select a designer center and border and stamp image onto white cardstock using Versamagic Red Magic and Brilliance Pearlescent Ivy. Die cut this image using Spellbinders Oval Nestabilities. Using a smaller Oval Nestbilities as a “mask” to cover the stamped image, apply glitter to the outer rim of the image. Die cut 1 mat from red cardstock and 1 mat from green cardstock using the Spellbinders Scallop Oval Nestabilities. Apply pop dots between layers and apply to the bag.
Add Kaiser rhinestones for extra bling.

Supplies:
JustRite Stampers:
JB-08180 Harmony Classic Oval Stamper II Stamp Ensemble
Spellbinders: Oval & Scallop Nestabilities
Paper: DCWV Christmas Stack
Accessories: Kaiser rhinestones, Santa sticker by Masterpiece Studios, glitter, Brilliance Pearlescent Ivy, Versamagic Red Magic

For the second Sweet Treat we altered a Ghirardelli Chocolate Squares - Limited Edition Peppermint Bark Bag. This bag already has a fun candy cane stripe and we just designed a fun vertical belly band to the package.
EAT LOTS OF CHOCOLATE
Cut a piece of DCWV paper 3” x 8 ¾”. Then cut a piece of green cardstock 3 ½” x 8 ¾” for a mat. Using holiday bead trim, hand stitch both sides of the green cardstock. Attach these to the front middle of the bag using pop dots.
Using the Brayton Font Ensemble (JB-08100) and the large Harmony Rectangular Stamper (JB-08110), spell out “HAPPY HOLIDAYS” using a versamark watermark pad and silver embossing powder. Die cut this using the Spellbinders Tags 5. Ink around the edges using Brilliance Platinum Planet. Add silver brads to either side. Cut a green mat 4 ½” x 1 ¼”. Layer these pieces together using pop dots and then adhere to the top portion of the bag.

Next, using the Christmas Stamp Ensemble (JB-08150) stamp the image onto white cardstock using Versamagic Red Magic and Versamagic Hint of Pesto. Die cut image using Spellbinders circle Nestabilities. Die cut 1 mat from green DCWV paper and 1 red mat from cardstock using Spellbinders Circle Scallop Nestabilities. Add Kaiser rhinestones to the centers of the stamped “bursts”. Layer these pieces together with pop dots and adhere to the bag.
