Final Vote for Stampin Champion

Thank you for patiently waiting for this post. I know that the finalists are ready to get the ball rolling and so are we! Please take a minute to scroll through all the entries. You will notice that each person was asked to make one card which is posted on the left side (some have inside views) and one non-card item (posted on the right side) to show their full range of paper crafting creativity. All of the entries are stunning and we are so thrilled to see the versatility and personalization these ladies created with JustRite products. Full details of all these projects can be found on each entrants personal blog.

Amongst the many many prizes that have been graciously donated by our incredibly generous sponsors (listed in the previous post) the Grand Prize winner will also have their card or project published in a future issue of Crafts 'n things magazine!

Let the voting begin and good luck to all the finalists. The poll will be open until Friday and will close at approximately 9:00 pm Eastern time. If you are reading this through an email feed you must come to the blog and vote. We can not accept comment or email votes. Oh and don't forget to tell everyone to come and vote!

You've misspelled #7's last name on your posting. It's Koerber.

Good Luck everyone! Boy, I think this round was the toughest one to decide. Such beautiful work by all the ladies :)

So it a popularity contest and not who you think did the best? The reason I say that is because out of all the people who entered wonderful projects, one as 415 Or more votes and the others are like 12 here 1 or 2 there. I guess I am confused. Why even enter a project then. Just have people vote.

maybe it's not a poplarity contest, possibly a large population prefer one entry to the others?

I don't think that was a fair comment about it being a popularity vote. I think all of the entries are great, I believe people vote on things that are 'usable' to them. Over the past 3 weeks, I can tell you that I was not a big winner on any account, and the things that even made 'hopeful' status were those things that just about everyone could use or were trendy. This has been a great contest!
Let's not turn this into anything negative for anyone!

We have been experiencing some visual technical difficulties with our voting system during the contest. If you wish to see all the vote totals place your mouse in front of the first persons numbers and then left click on your mouse and hold it down. Scroll over the vote column and all the numbers will appear. We apologize for any confusion this technical problem has caused. Congratulations to all the finalists who have worked incredible hard to make it to the finals. They have been a great source of inspiration for the last 4 weeks.

I am starting to think something is wrong with the voting - how come one has HUNDREDS more than the others? Also it's one that isn't an original idea in the first place - the cookie sheet calender idea was shown at SU convention. Just my 2 cents.

It is obvious much thought and many hours of effort have been put into each entry. JustRite, you should have told us about the left-click and drag to see the true number of votes! However, I must agree that if we are voting for the Stampin' Champion, we are voting for their work and making this anonymous would have given truer results.

Despite the not so kind comments, I am glad that JustRite had this contest! It has been fun and inspiring. Thank you for this great contest. The prize package at stake is bringing out the worst in people.

In response to the comment posted above by anonymous "...it's one that isn't an original idea in the first place - the cookie sheet calender idea was shown at SU convention. Just my 2 cents."

First, I would like to say that I did credit the person whom I was inspired by on both my blog and on my splitcoast photo uploads, and have been in contact with that person. As for the SU convention showing, I apologize I was not at that convention.

Secondly, I would like to say that in my opinion none of the entries are "original" in that if you really looked hard you would probably find someone, somewhere that had once upon a time made something similar.

I do not believe the contest was based on “originality”. I believe everyone that participated entered photos of items they made or altered using the JustRite products. It was up to the team to select their favorites and up to the world to vote on the top 9.

So with that said. I am elated that “hundreds” of votes have come in for my project, I do not in any way apologize for my work, or the fact that others like it and have voted for it.

Thank you to all who like my work and have voted for it. I greatly appreciate each and every vote. Thank you!!

One more thing . . . all the entries are great entries!! And all the ladies in the top 9 are phenomenal stampers/crafters. I am honored to have made it this far. I want to thank everyone who participated in the contest, and JustRite for inspiring and challenging me. This has been a fun and stressful competition. :)

Nobody is a loser - we all winners!

Those entries are all fabulous but the one that caught my eye is I believe #6, "the faux coach purse".
